About The Position

The purpose of this job/class within the organization is to provide administrative support within a specific department or division. This job/class works under close supervision according to set procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school supplemented by six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in coaching, refereeing, scorekeeping, etc.
  • Must have a valid Florida Driver License
  • CPR and First-Aid certifications required and must be obtained, and maintained, within 6 months of appointment to position.

Responsibilities

  • Checks on and inspects for safety athletic programs, facilities, and equipment.
  • Completes facility maintenance checklist
  • Completes attendance and non-employee accident reports
  • Enforces facility rules and regulations
  • Umpires games and keeps score as needed
  • Maintains adequate records.
  • Makes sure half field lights are on/off as needed
  • Drags lines and rakes fields
  • Checks facility use permits
  • Replaces equipment as needed (nets, bases, and plates, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned.
