About The Position

The Athletics Event and Operations team are looking to hire gameday event workers at the new Lee and Penny Anderson Arena (LPAA). This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks based on need, a few examples include: Set up and break-down of the LPAA Assisting LPAA staff in managing rentals and camps Gameday costumer service roles such as, ticketing, ushering, elevator operations and guest services Experienced staff will be eligible for more advanced gameday roles such us score board operation, shot clock operations or other in game responsibilities if needed Assisting in the conversion of the hockey rink to the basketball court and back Other relevant tasks as needed

Requirements

• Our desired applicant would be one who is willing to take coaching and learn many new policies and procedures
• Reliable and timely
• This role will be required to work weekends and evenings, and applicants will be required to attend two days of training in mid December (date TBD).
• This role will be required to lift heavy objects and other potentially strenuous physical activity.

Nice To Haves

• Have previous experience in event management or customer service (bonus points if they were athletic events)
