The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall management, leadership, vision and operations of the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena, including, but not limited to, strategic planning, budgeting, managing full time and part time staff, daily operations, event conversions, while achieving the University of St. Thomas’ Intercollegiate athletics goals and achieving desired outcomes for the university. The GM will lead full-time and part-time staff members to meet sales objectives, execute daily operations, coordinate routine maintenance and ensure high standards of customer service are met. The GM will provide leadership and support for vendors and partners supporting L&PAA including but not limited to, food service, merchandise, facilities management, public safety, third party security, St. Paul Police and Fire Departments and more. The development of job descriptions, hiring, onboarding, education and mentoring, while overseeing operating and revenue budgets, event conversions, safety and security, developing a customer service program, establishing event action plans, incident action response plans and more are necessary.
