About The Position

The Athletic Compliance Coordinator ensures that University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. Monitoring compliance related issues. Manages activities. Ensures all incoming prospective student-athletes are eligible and admitted to the University. Ensures University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and SEC rules and regulations pertaining to initial eligibility and admissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher and some intercollegiate athletics compliance experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to effectively perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of personal computers and standard software programs to include database skills and word processing skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and monitor all steps of the work process.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of, or experience with, operations of an institution of higher education, preferably a Division I institution.
