As the Lead Quality Engineer at our West Chester, Ohio site, you will be responsible for product quality review associated with the additive manufacturing process. In this role, you will impact departmental operations and be responsible for planning and execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience), plus minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish inspection and control plans for conformance of additive hardware, using statistics to analyze capability
  • Leverage FLIGHT DECK to lead problem solving and process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in strategic initiatives for new technologies related to additive manufacturing processes
  • Ownership of Material Review Board (MRB) tickets
  • Engage in site audit initiatives; perform workstation audits and support regulatory and special process audits
  • Use understanding of key business drivers to understand to accomplish own work
  • Communicate and participate in team, site, IPT, and business initiatives
