About The Position

BEI Tactical has been awarded a contract supporting the CENSECFOR at San Diego, CA. This effort establishes the support of the Antiterrorism (AT) Leadership Training Program. It includes all Antiterrorism training for which CENSECFOR has been tasked with course management responsibility. Services provided shall include, but are not limited to, course and curriculum development, training management and oversight, and instructional delivery. The training provided by the instructor will encompass the course scope, learning objectives, and Navy instructions. This support will be accomplished predominately at CENSECFOR Headquarters site at Little Creek, VA, and at CENSECFOR Detachments at Chesapeake, VA, San Diego, CA, and Pearl Harbor, HI to satisfy the AT training requirements for CENSECFOR. These services shall be provided in support of CENSECFOR programs under the coordination of the CENSECFOR Director of Training (DOT) and CENSECFOR COR.

Requirements

  • Must have past successful experience in Antiterrorism Program Management, to include completion of at least 3 years’ assignment as an Installation Antiterrorism Officer (ATO), Installation Security Officer or Assistant Installation Security Officer: OR Must have completed a tour of duty as Echelon 2 command antiterrorism/force protection staff officer: OR Must have equivalent experience with NCIS, Afloat Training Group or TYCOM level or above AT staff, AT assessment team or AT training team.
  • Must have a SECRET security clearance.
  • Must have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (A-012-0077) (or military service equivalent), OR Academic credentialing (teacher/professor). Currently, only Tidewater Community College course MILT 5100 meets the requirements, OR Instructor training via an academic institution.
  • At a minimum, shall possess: High personal standards of technical knowledge and professional competence in delivering training material.
  • The ability to perform in a military environment.
  • Familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U. S. Navy, military rank/grade structure.
  • Knowledge of Navy and military terminology, and shipboard/installation environments and configurations.
  • Knowledge of basic and advanced training techniques and of computer technology applications as they apply to instructional delivery.
  • Instructors are expected to maintain the personal standards of technical and professional levels of competence that are at least equal to that of the Department of the Navy military personnel undergoing training.
  • The ability to instill morale and motivation of student and instructional personnel shall be maintained at a maximum level to ensure a favorable environment for learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO), preferably as a VBSS Boarding Officer would be a valuable added qualification.
