City Year Student Success Coaches will help students earn academic success, improve their attendance, and develop positive behaviors at school. They will plan and monitor individual student progress and also work with teachers on whole class instruction, breakout spaces, and other in-class student assistance. As a school day learning coach serving as an ASU City Year Student Success Coach (ASU SSC), your service will focus on coaching and mentoring elementary and high school students. You will help these students earn academic success, improve their attendance, and develop positive behaviors at school. You will plan and monitor individual student progress and also work with teachers on whole class instruction, breakout spaces, and other in-class student assistance. This position is unique to the Phoenix location, and only students who are currently enrolled at ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation are eligible to apply. Although the ASU SSC position will have similarities to other City Year Student Success Coach roles across the country, there are key differences in benefits and job scope.
