Assured Compliance Assessment Solution Cybersecurity Engineer Key Role: Serve as an Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) cybersecurity systems engineer responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the ACAS suite, including Security Center and Nessus scanners, which are used for vulnerability management and security compliance. Conduct scans, analyze reports, implement patches and updates, and ensure adherence to federal government security standards and other agency-specific policies. Use technical expertise with ACAS components and scripting languages and a strong understanding of network infrastructure and risk management. Provide on-site and remote engineering and integration services for the enterprise architecture and integration of products to include system architecture, solution design, performance audits, system reviews, documentation and data migration, scanning, and remediation. Perform and support site audits, as well as provide cybersecurity recommendations in support of ATO activities. Author custom security policies, signatures, and assist with configuration file updates. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts to advance mission requirements. Perform as part of a team as they troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network and security devices and applications. Work with other teams to integrate ACAS capabilities into broader security operations and troubleshoot issues. Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with security strategy and maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client.

  • 3+ years of experience with system engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, or engineering management
  • 2+ years of experience deploying, maintaining, administrating, and integrating the ACAS tool set
  • Knowledge of security architecture design and integration
  • Ability to integrate cybersecurity engineering principles into infrastructure planning, design, and deployment
  • Ability to meet schedule, performance, and quality within the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience providing IT support, or Master's degree and 8+ years of experience providing IT support
  • IAT Level III Certification such as CISSP or CISM Certification
  • Experience deploying, maintaining, or integrating using cybersecurity tools such as Trellix (HBSS), Splunk, FirePower, or FireEye
  • Experience using SolarWinds
  • Linux+ or RHEL Certification
