About The Position

Live Oak Contracting, LLC is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful delivery of our multifamily construction projects. This is a developmental role designed for construction professionals who are looking to grow into a Project Manager position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of multifamily construction experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of field experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of construction processes and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team-oriented with growth mindset

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preconstruction activities including estimates, schedules of values, and contract documentation
  • Review plans, specifications, and drawings
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
  • Support procurement and project buyout
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
  • Support project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation
