About The Position

Responsible for working with the Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth, compliant, and cost-effective operation of FirstBank Southwest’s facilities by coordinating maintenance, managing vendors, and supporting a safe, efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Construction Management degree and 2 years’ experience OR Associate degree and 4 years’ experience in facilities management.
  • General computer skills
  • Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing facility operations, including but not limited to, maintenance, repairs, and security.
  • Assists coordinating with vendors and contractors for service and maintenance needs.
  • Supports the day-to-day operational management of the property to assure maintenance of quality standards.
  • Assists in the preparation and coordination of fire, life safety, and other safety programs.
  • Assists in the preparation and coordination of maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior conditions, and appearance of the properties.
  • Supports the Facility Manager to assure full compliance with standards established with the service agreement.
  • Participates in the selection of contract services and the vendor negotiation of service agreements.
  • Ensures positive and prompt responses to maintenance requests.
  • Works with utility companies and other vendors to plan and complete job activities.
  • Assists the Facility Manager in overseeing cleaning crews and janitorial staff.
  • Performs basic maintenance duties.
  • Assists with setup of special events.
  • Be on call after hours to address maintenance needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
