RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Environmental Services department Director in the administrative planning and operational responsibility and administration of Environmental Services Department. Supports Director in operation of department and acts for Director in his/her absence. Supports Director by preparing department budget data; monitors expenditures while developing and implementing hospital/departments goals and objectives. Utilizes a systems methodology to analyze organizational systems and processes, to make recommendations for operation improvements and to coordinate the implementation of changes, work through individual and team approaches Conduct analysis of facility needs relating to EVS including work flow analysis, space programming, equipment layout design, and simulation technology Proficient in leading, and training management with a heightened emphasis on consistency, responsibility and accountability. Work with department manager to formulate plan for professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, 6 years previous experience of which three years are in a supervisory role.
