About The Position

Responsible for performing various duties within a given department in the warehouse. Position requires the ability to complete assigned tasks and meet productivity and/or quality standards within allotted timeframes. Adheres to OSHA regulations in performing work tasks.

Requirements

• Warehouse experience a plus but not required
• Must have adequate reading and math skill, and ability to write legibly.
• Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks including walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods of time and ability to lift from 50, up to 100 pounds.
• Must have ability to listen to direction, manage time and complete all work as assigned within established timeline.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to interact with fellow workers.

Responsibilities

• Jobs can include shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, loading, and unloading trucks.
• Responsible for the safe operation and use of any material handling or dock equipment i.e., pallet jacks.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed and properly processed.
• Can be required to non-powered Material Handling equipment (Training may be required).
• Efficiently completes all activities assigned by warehouse supervisor or Team Lead.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Must have ability to learn various warehouse functions and processes.
• Responsible for adhering to all OSHA requirements (training will be provided).
• Financial Responsibility: can handle equipment valued up to $150,000.
• Works as part of a team that must have coordinated work efforts to complete department and overall operational goals.
• Meets appropriate productivity /quality standards relative to job responsibility as outlined by manager.
• Will be required to work at a rapid pace to meet work deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
