About The Position

Fanatics is hiring an Associate to join the VIP Strategic Initiatives team. This is the engine room of VIP operations. Your primary job is making the VIP President and leadership team more effective every single day. You will own the daily preparation, follow-through, and operational rigor that keeps leadership sharp, informed, and moving fast. You will be in the office early, making sure the day is organized before leadership arrives: priorities triaged, materials prepped, open items tracked, and nothing falling through the cracks. When something lands that needs a fast answer, you run it down. When a number doesn't tie, you catch it before anyone else sees it. When a follow-up is at risk of slipping, you're already on it. The role is weighted toward operational execution and daily leadership support, with the remainder split across fast-turn analytics and strategic projects for our highest-value customer segment (customers driving an outsized share of revenue). The person who thrives here gets genuine satisfaction from making the people around them more effective, and understands that operational excellence is the most critical input to success. Requirements

1-3 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm (MBB or similar), financial institution, or high-growth startup
Relentlessly organized, detail-obsessed, and proactive: the kind of person your manager never had to worry about
AI savvy: creatively finds ways to automate, simplify, and make processes more efficient
Strong analytical toolkit: advanced Excel required, SQL or Snowflake familiarity preferred
High standards for accuracy and clarity in all written and visual communications
High energy, low ego, and a genuine willingness to grind on whatever the team needs
Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking full ownership of unstructured problems
This role requires early morning presence in the office to prepare the day's priorities before leadership arrives

Interest in sports, betting and gaming, or entertainment industries strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Own the President's daily prep: organize priorities, surface what matters, flag what's at risk, and ensure materials and context are ready before every meeting
Track action items, follow-ups, and open loops across leadership initiatives with zero drop-off
Triage incoming requests and information flow, ensuring the right things get to the right people at the right time
Maintain and update operating trackers, dashboards, and reporting cadences that keep the team accountable
Execute fast-turn analytical requests for the VIP leadership team, delivering clean, executive-ready outputs under tight timelines
Leverage AI and data analysis to analyze performance data and trends across customer acquisition, retention, and events to inform leadership decisions
Build and maintain models and dashboards that improve visibility into key metrics and business drivers
Support longer-horizon analytical projects including pilot design, process improvement, and strategic deep dives
Support the Director in driving top strategic priorities and laying operational groundwork to scale the VIP business
Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and briefing materials
Anticipate information needs for the President and senior leadership, ensuring nothing is late or incomplete
Jump on emerging opportunities and unstructured problems with initiative, not waiting to be told what to do
