Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
Active Florida veterinary license (or the ability to obtain one)
Eligibility for DEA/BNDD
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical care by examining and treating companion animals to diagnose illness and injury.
Utilize diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and accurately interpret results to guide treatment plans.
Educate and advise pet owners on preventative care and recommended treatments.
Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications confidently and responsibly.
Offer compassionate support during end-of-life care discussions.
Maintain accurate, organized medical records.
Practice medicine in alignment with veterinary ethics, standards, and hospital protocols.
