Our Veterinary client is seeking change-makers and visionaries to add to their team in Lancaster, PA. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing a personalized client/patient experience by leveraging the reimagined vision of veterinary care at the heart of this unique organization. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, exercises sound clinical judgment, and builds trust with pet owners. Top-Notch Mentorship Program: This position provides new Veterinarians with exceptional support through a structured, 6-month 1-on-1 mentorship program, along with future access to advanced surgical mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

  • DVM/VMD from an accredited program is required (future graduates encouraged to apply)
  • North American Veterinary License required (or soon to earn, if finishing Veterinary school)
  • Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required

Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat canine and feline patients
  • Advise pet owners on general care, nutrition, and preventive health
  • Manage sensitive or difficult client conversations with compassion
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and accurately interpret the results
  • Restore pet health by treating animals surgically or medically
  • Educate owners about the benefits of spaying and neutering
  • Ensure adherence to veterinary standards, ethics, and clinic policies
  • Prevent rabies, brucellosis, and other disorders by testing and providing inoculations
  • Complete all required medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with technicians to optimize workflow
  • Report communicable diseases to public health authorities as required
