About The Position
Texas State University Libraries is seeking an Associate University Librarian for Library Services. This position provides strategic leadership and strives for organizational efficiency and effectiveness across Texas State University Libraries at the San Marcos and Round Rock Campus Library. The AUL for Library Services is a member of the University Libraries’ leadership team and provides oversight for public services, technology support, events & programs, and facilities. This position oversees the development and implementation of innovative services and resources that enhance the academic and research experience for the university community. The AUL for Library Services plays a pivotal role in transforming the library’s physical and digital landscapes to meet the evolving needs of a wide user base, promoting an encompassing environment that supports learning, teaching, and research. This position is responsible for locations including Alkek Library and Round Rock Library.

- Experience participating in a library fundraising and development program, engaging with new and ongoing donors and providing stewardship information to major donors.
- Ability to build successful partnerships at the local, regional, and national level.

- Skills in program management, development, marketing, and assessments.
- Effective organization and time management strategies.
- Flexible and creative in handling multiple responsibilities in a changing environment.
