About The Position

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make a difference. As an Associate Underwriter/Broker in Commercial Lines, you’ll play a key role in evaluating insurance applications and helping clients get the coverage they need. You’ll work closely with senior underwriters and field teams to assess risks and make informed decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Insurance applications for property and casualty coverage.
Evaluate property details like value, location, and safety features to decide whether to accept, modify, or decline risks.
Collaborate with field teams to gather the information you need to support your decisions.
Ensure fair and accurate coverage for clients while managing risks effectively.
A detail-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills.
The ability to assess complex information and make sound decisions.
Clear communication skills to explain your decisions.
