TOGETHER WE WIN® THE OPPORTUNITY The Associate plays a key role in supporting the loan origination process, partnering closely with Relationship Managers and the originations team to facilitate smooth, accurate, and timely transaction execution. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing financial information, preparing credit related materials, coordinating due diligence, and ensuring new clients transition seamlessly into onboarding. The Associate is expected to build strong working relationships with prospective clients and internal partners, supporting a high quality client experience throughout the loan approval and closing process. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years related experience or public accounting
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience or training
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • There will be some on-the-job training; however, the candidate should be a “self-starter”

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the originations team throughout the deal cycle, including pre screening, underwriting support, due diligence coordination, and preparation for loan closing.
  • Conduct financial statement analysis to assess creditworthiness, identify key trends, and support initial risk assessments for prospective borrowers.
  • Assist in preparing credit packages, presentations, and supporting documentation for credit approval.
  • Coordinate information flow between internal stakeholders including underwriting, credit administration, and operations to ensure accuracy and completeness of deal files.
  • Support loan closing activities by ensuring required documents and conditions are fulfilled, validated, and properly documented.
  • Communicate regularly with prospective clients to obtain required information, clarify requests, and support a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in AblSoft and other systems used to track origination activity and loan progress.
  • Prepare summaries, reports, and status updates to keep management informed of deal pipeline progress and potential issues.
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects to support the Bank’s brand, demonstrate service excellence, and create a strong foundation for long term engagement.
  • Begin developing relationships with key market constituents—including venture capital and private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, and related centers of influence—to support business development efforts.
  • Attend in market client and prospect events as needed to build network visibility and strengthen the Bank’s presence.
