New York Life's Talent Acquisition team is seeking an Associate Technology Recruiter to support hiring across our technology organization, which includes areas such as Cloud, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Data, and Artificial Intelligence. This role is ideal for an early-career recruiter with demonstrated sourcing and recruiting experience who is eager to deepen their expertise in technology recruiting while partnering with senior recruiters, HR Business Partners, and the Early Career team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sourcing and recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to technology roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with recruiters, HRBPs, hiring managers, and the Early Career team.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support aspects of the full life cycle recruiting process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, and screening.
  • Proactively source and engage candidates using direct recruiting strategies and recruiting tools.
  • Partner with senior recruiters on candidate pipeline development for critical technology roles.
  • Collaborate with the Early Career team to connect internship and campus programs to future technology hiring needs.
  • Work with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to ensure alignment with workforce planning and share progress updates.
  • Maintain candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and contribute to accurate reporting.
  • Create a positive candidate experience through clear, timely communication and professional engagement at each stage of the process.
  • Stay informed on technology recruiting trends and labor market dynamics.
