It may be the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time Associate Teacher positions at The Nest Family Center. No weekend work required. Full-time shifts are typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM , Monday through Friday. Part-time options include 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM , Monday through Friday. As a full- or part-time Associate Teacher , you'll arrive each day ready to support a stimulating and safe educational environment, in alignment with New Hampshire state regulations. Under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, you'll implement developmentally appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support growth in every child. You'll engage meaningfully with children, foster positive peer interactions, and maintain open communication with families - keeping them informed about their child's progress and responding to questions with care. You'll also work closely with your fellow educators to ensure a cohesive, collaborative classroom experience. In addition to all the fun and learning, you'll help keep the center clean, organized, and safe - always keeping a watchful eye on the well-being of each child in your care. Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and play with kids
  • Ability to follow NH child care rules (CPR/First Aid, training, etc.)
  • Worked as an associate teacher before Nov 6, 2017
  • Took 9 college credits in child-related classes (one must be about child development)
  • Certified as a Para II educator
  • Have 1,000 hours of child care experience and took a 2-year high school teacher course OR took a college class in child development OR did 30 hours of approved training OR have life experience working with kids (like teaching, camp counselor, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to pass a background check.
