About The Position

Pivot Energy is seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Associate to join our People team, supporting our people growth as we scale to meet the growing energy demand across the United States. Our Talent Acquisition team holds a crucial role in identifying and engaging with candidates who can bring their skills to Pivot Energy while adding to our vibrant and people-first culture. The Talent Acquisition Associate will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Partner by identifying, attracting, and sourcing qualified talent as our highly talented team continues to develop solar plus storage projects all around the United States. They will also be closely involved in Pivot’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, which include sourcing diverse talent, observing and mitigating bias in the hiring process, and advocating for equitable selection practices. In addition to identifying skilled talent, the Talent Acquisition Associate will work hand-in-hand with the Talent Acquisition Manager to partner with hiring managers to ensure they have completed hiring manager training, to screen initial resumes, schedule interviews and interview panels, and manage the candidate experience through the process. This role will also support the employee onboarding process, ensuring the handover between recruitment and new hire processes is tightly interwoven, taking on increasing responsibility in this area over time. While this role will have a close collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager, the successful candidate will report to the Vice President, People. While we support a nationally dispersed team, this role is based in our Denver, CO office, and will be expected to work from the office on a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of prior experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a high-growth environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with an ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and across teams.
  • A genuine passion for the candidate experience and a high level of responsiveness
  • The ability to articulate our company and employee value proposition to candidates
  • Proven problem-solving skills and knowing when to seek or request more information to keep the hiring process moving forward in a timely manner
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in G Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite of products

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and employment best practices
  • Experience with LinkedIn to network and outbound call passive candidates
  • The ability to capture and read data signaling trends around our process
  • Prior experience nurturing pipelines of qualified candidates
  • Proficiency in Lever, Greenhouse, or a similar ATS
  • Prior experience supporting talent acquisition at rapidly growing renewable energy organizations

Responsibilities

  • Review and screen resumes, and conduct phone screens, providing helpful insights and recommendations during early-stage candidate selection
  • Manage the candidate pipeline and adhere to best practices in data management in our Applicant Tracking System
  • Document and collect interviewer candidate feedback throughout the interview process
  • Respond to hiring manager recommendations and schedule feedback sessions when required for selection
  • Creatively source candidates and assist in developing a pipeline of passive and active candidates
  • Ability to analyze basic data trends and recommend solutions to adjust the talent acquisition process
  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve the process, software usage, automation, data, and reporting
  • Ensure and maintain a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, in collaboration with IT and Accounting
  • Identify and explore opportunities to strengthen employer branding
  • Additional responsibilities as required
