Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer (Level 1)/Systems Engineer (Level 2) to join its team in Roy, UT supporting the GSSC Program. As prime contractor for Ground Subsystems Support since 2015, Northrop Grumman is providing engineering and field services to sustain the ground subsystems on the U.S Air Force Minuteman III. What you will get to do : The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Applying the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications Participating in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems Performing requirements analysis, developing source data for requirements, generating test requirements and preparing test reports Verifying specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis Supporting all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal Maintaining design documentation and following configuration management requirements Developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the systems engineering function Interfacing with AF customer

Requirements

  • Associate Systems Engineer (level 1): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from and 0 years of experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft 365)
  • 1 year of presentation experience with the ability to present to project and program management, other technical managers, and customers (school or internship experience)
  • Systems Engineer (level 2): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years of experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft 365)
  • 2 years of presentation experience with the ability to present to project and program management, other technical managers, and customers (school or internship acceptable)
