About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer Associate to support the Space Force Range Contract Typical Duties A focus on one or more of the following Systems Engineering Functional Areas (Testing, Requirements Analysis, Integration, Specialty Engineering, and Systems Architecture) is expected: Develops, implements, and maintains developmental and operational acceptance test plans, procedures and reports Assist team on moderately complex projects or phases of significant projects; coordinates the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects Analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies Assists in the design and requirements development/verification process Identify system architecture needs and assists development of enterprise architecture items to be produced in support of assigned projects such as DODAF drawing generation Ensure the as-designed system requirements allocated to the project meet Safety Hazard requirements and develop associated analyses, as required Assists in developing and implementing training tools and documentation Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related STEM field
  • 0-2 years experience in systems engineering (Requirements, Test, specialty engineering, or Systems Architecture) or related engineering field
  • Fundamental knowledge of engineering lifecycle and systems engineering processes
  • Experience working with Windows based computer systems, components, and Office tool suite
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing and implementing training tools and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
