Montgomery College has an immediate need for a Full- Associate Senior Vice President for Student Success and Strategic Initiatives. The work schedule is Monday -Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm., with occasional evening and weekend hours, depending on the needs of the unit. This is an Exempt, non-bargaining grade 39 position. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, the Associate Senior Vice President for Student Success and Strategic Initiatives provides executive leadership for institutional strategies designed to advance access, persistence, student completion, and post-completion success. The position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and evaluating high-impact student success initiatives aligned with Montgomery College’s Transformational Aspirations and Strategic Plan. Working in close collaboration with leadership across the College, the Associate Senior Vice President ensures alignment with institutional priorities, data-informed decision-making, and equitable student outcomes. The role provides strategic direction for a portfolio of programs and services that support student success from entry through completion and beyond, including Intercollegiate Athletics, Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES), Student Employment Services, parenting student programs, and TRIO programs (Student Support Services and Educational Opportunity Center). This position also oversees the coordination and project management of collegewide initiatives related to strategic student success priorities, including the coordination of social support resources, mental health resources, parenting student programming, and the student complaint and resolution process for the Student Affairs Division. The Associate Senior Vice President supervises senior administrators and professional staff responsible for these areas and ensures alignment between programmatic efforts and measurable strategic plan outcomes.
