About The Position

The Associate Sustainability Data Analyst will support Andersen's sustainability initiative by assisting in the collection, analysis, and reporting on sustainability-related data. The analyst will work under supervision to ensure data accuracy and support the organization in making informed, long-term decisions. This position will focus on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with opportunities to support Scope 3 data efforts. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Requirements

  • Up to two (2) years of experience in data analysis, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, or SASB is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in gathering, tracking, and analyzing sustainability-related data, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Scope 1, 2, and later, Scope 3), energy consumption, waste, and water usage. Support the preparation of internal reports and external disclosures, including compliance with sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD).
  • Verification: Support quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of sustainability data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data inputs and maintain consistency across reporting systems.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Contribute to the development of dashboards and visualizations that communicate sustainability performance. Provide basic insights to support ongoing initiatives.
  • Compliance & Standards: Assist in ensuring all sustainability data complies with relevant environmental regulations and aligns with industry best practices. Learn and apply best practices in sustainability reporting
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability and environmental data management. Participate in training and development opportunities to build expertise in environmental data management.
  • Provide support for sustainability projects and other duties as assigned
