Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2-4 years of experience in college strength and conditioning
  • CSCS and/or CSCCA Certification required
  • Compliance

Responsibilities

  • Works under the supervision of the Senior Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance.
  • Direct responsibilities for year-round programs for assigned teams.
  • Supervises athletics weight room, inventory, and maintenance.
  • Recommend purchases regarding strength and conditioning equipment.
  • Work in conjunction with athletic trainers regarding injuries, rehabilitation, and nutrition.
  • Coordinate with coaches regarding schedules and needs.
  • Commitment to and compliance with the University’s and Department of Athletics policies and procedures as well as the MEAC, NEC and NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance.
