About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Certification from a recognized organization such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa).
  • Experience in developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs.
  • A deep understanding of exercise physiology and program design, which are applied daily to create effective training regimens.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for educating clients and collaborating with other professionals, ensuring that everyone is aligned on fitness goals.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire clients is crucial, as it fosters a positive training environment and encourages adherence to programs.
  • Organizational skills are necessary for tracking client progress and managing multiple training schedules efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including youth, adults, and seniors.
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas such as sports nutrition or injury rehabilitation.
