About The Position

The Associate Store Director (ASD), SoHo is key leader within one of Moncler's most dynamic and high-visibility U.S. Flagship boutiques. Supporting the Store Director, the ASD plays a critical leadership role in driving business performance, elevating the client experience, developing top talent, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume flagship environment. With a deep commitment to Moncler's values and Client Promise, the Associate Store Director leads through presence, inspiration, and strategic impact, empowering the team to deliver exceptional service, execute business priorities, and maintain the highest standards of brand presentation and cultural leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, proven experience in luxury flagship retail, and an ability to build meaningful relationships with local and global clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive luxury retail experience, with a demonstrated track record of growing business performance and leading high-performing teams.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' leadership experience, including experience managing other managers including experience managing other managers in a high-volume or flagship environment.
  • Strong experience in client development, CRM strategy, operational excellence, and commercial decision-making.

  • Prior experience working in a major global market (NYC, LA, Miami, London, Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, Tokyo) strongly preferred.
  • Proven success driving KPIs and elevating the client experience in a fast-paced, high-visibility luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Partner with the Store Director to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing, client-focused team.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of managers, ensuring they are equipped to lead their teams, drive business performance, and uphold Moncler's service and operational standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, in-the-moment feedback, and performance conversations through consistent one-to-ones, goal setting, and development plans for both managers and sales teams.
  • Ensure managers are effectively executing their responsibilities in CRM, Client Development, Operations, Floor Leadership, and Team Training.
  • Partner with HR and Field Training to identify development needs and support succession planning for future leaders.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent aligned with Moncler's culture and service expectations.
  • Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, accountability, and team spirit that reflects Moncler's values.
  • Client Experience & Sales Performance
  • Lead by example on the floor, setting the tone for elevated service, storytelling, and client engagement.
  • Drive sales performance through KPI ownership, including sales productivity, UPT, conversion, repurchase rate, CRM capture, and client outreach.
  • Model and reinforce Client Experience Management (CEM) behaviors that create emotional, memorable client moments.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships and oversee clienteling actions to grow SoHo's local and international client base.
  • Partner with the Store Director to identify business opportunities using sales analysis, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Manage escalated client situations with diplomacy, empathy, and brand-aligned solutions.
  • Business & Operations
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and protection of company assets.
  • Ensure excellence in scheduling, inventory management, cash handling, shipping/receiving, and stockroom operations.
  • Partner with regional and corporate teams (Operations, HR, Merchandising, Asset Protection) to ensure alignment with policy, procedures, and business goals.
  • Support inventory accuracy, loss prevention initiatives, and operational audits.
  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards consistent with the SoHo flagship environment.
  • Analyze reporting (sell-through, productivity, CRM) to develop informed business-driving strategies.
  • Brand & Culture Leadership
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, modeling Moncler's identity, values, and aesthetic at all times.
  • Lead daily briefings and team huddles to cascade priorities, clarify expectations, and energize the team.
  • Champion Moncler culture through recognition, engagement actions, and team-building initiatives.
  • Represent the brand externally, developing community relationships within the SoHo, downtown, and NYC luxury landscape.
  • Embody Moncler's commitment to innovation, performance, and authenticity.
