The Associate Store Development Planner is responsible for supporting the Store Development, Purchasing and Construction teams, in the execution of New Stores, Remodels and Fleet/Rollout improvements through plan development and execution. The Associate Development Planner will assist in direct communication and streamline the New Store Plan process as a liaison between Store Development, Purchasing, Construction, Store Planning and Store Design. In addition, will have direct communication with external partners, such as Architects. The Associate Development Planner must be an expert in the use and function of AutoCAD. An employee in this position can expect a starting rate between $80,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. What You Do Update store plans in AutoCAD (Preliminary Base Plans, As built conditions, etc.) Partner with internal teams to gather and organize information from landlords Manage and maintain organization of tracking documents such as schedules and other means of information tracking Learn and understand Barnes & Noble standards when developing fixture plans and Construction Drawings Liaison between internal departments to streamline the design process and sharing of information Quickly become familiar with store fixtures and furniture used in stores.
