As an Associate Sterile Processing Technician, you will receive on the job training to prepare, clean, process, and store supplies and surgical instruments for patient care. You will play a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use. To succeed, you should demonstrate attention to detail, customer service skills, and good communication skills. The role is responsible for ensuring all patient care and surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments are properly inventoried, inspected, stored, distributed and reprocessed in a quality and timely manner throughout the health system.
