This position involves using in-house software applications to program circuit boards and calibrate light measuring devices. The technician will perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical, optical, and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, utilizing hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic tooling. They are responsible for reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor and maintaining a clean and orderly work area while following safety regulations. The role requires completing tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Work is performed in a shop environment, and the technician may be required to work at different workstations or shift between stations as production needs dictate during the assembly process. Other duties may be assigned.
