Job Summary The Associate Software Instructional Designer is responsible for using computer software and other technologies to streamline education courses for customers. This role crafts and delivers training programs, processes, and tools that support the organization's goals and objectives. The Designer consults with subject matter authorities to resolve the efficiency of course designs.

Requirements

  • Proven track record to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Demonstrated skill with classroom facilitation to make clear and persuasive presentation and facilitate large group meetings
  • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels of management and associates both internally and externally
  • Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent assignments while meeting deadlines and quality execution
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience
  • Experience in a learning role
  • Crafting, developing, and delivering learning programs in a professional environment

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop WalkMe content aligned to business goals and user needs
  • Integrates adult learning theory into multi-platform training solutions that include, but are not limited to classroom training, online training, blended training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, assessments, evaluations, multimedia visual aids, and other informative materials.
  • Designs and establishes benchmarks that measure the impact and efficiency of learning and development programs on business performance and builds corresponding improvement plans.
  • Designs and develops learning via multiple vehicles, such as instructor-led training (ILT), leader-led learning, self-study, blended learning, just-in-time learning/webinars, and e-learning.
  • Collaborates in the design of computer-based and multimedia curricula.
  • Supports implementation and execution of the Learning Management System, including data entry, course creation and scheduling, usage and completion reporting, compliance reporting, trend analysis, and other functions, as required.
  • Develops systems and processes appropriate for the company’s outstanding needs.
  • Provides training support solutions to help meet business goals.
  • Owns the training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
  • Ensures the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
  • Crafts and maintains training surveys.
  • Consults with team members to support employee development.
  • Collaborates with leadership and team members to gain knowledge of work processes, standards of accuracy, and information flow that require training and to better understand changes in workflow, processes, procedures, regulations, nuances by specialty and role, business initiatives, and technologies.
  • Supports Customer Service operations by providing backup coverage for training and education inquiries and tickets.
