You have a strong interest in building scalable systems and are excited to grow your skills in back-end development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps. You're comfortable working on implementation tasks, following best practices, and contributing to team goals. You're passionate about learning, improving your craft, and working collaboratively with others to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in back-end development, with a focus on Go (Golang)
- Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
- Basic experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of network protocols and system security basics
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger)
- Exposure to distributed systems or fault-tolerant design
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain back-end services using Go (Golang)
- Develop and enhance microservices using gRPC and Protocol Buffers
- Contribute to building and managing containerized services and infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Follow and support security best practices in back-end development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and system issues
- Assist in monitoring and improving the performance and reliability of back-end services
- Help document system architecture, design, and deployment processes
- Support automation for back-end workflows and DevOps pipelines
- Follow system design guidelines and contribute to implementation under guidance
- Stay curious and engaged with industry trends to apply new knowledge and improve systems
