About The Position

The Associate Service Engineer role focused on maintenance and repair of standard laboratory instrumentation and low complexity robotics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in Service Engineering or regulated laboratory settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handles basic troubleshooting, equipment servicing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Follows SOPs and performs task-based assignments.
  • Expected to troubleshoot issues that are limited in complexity.
  • Begin to understand "3 pillars" of laboratory automation troubleshooting (hardware, software, and assay).
  • Document service tickets completely and with appropriate detail. Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Collaborate with Equipment Technicians to maintain service tools and spare parts and ensure workspace organization.
  • Adhere to lab safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
