About The Position

Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels) Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems Preparing samples for analysis and running some instrumentation with minimum supervision Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department Prepare standards and samples for analysis Execute method transfer protocols Document work as required for GMP compliance Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Good dexterity; positive attitude; solution driven; good work habits (organized, efficient, careful, safety-conscious, accurate); attention to detail; sound scientific logic; good oral and written communication skills; understanding of multiple instrumentation platforms; client service focused; demonstration of organizational skills; ability to independently work on complex projects; ability to multitask; technical writing skills
  • Familiarity with Biochemistry techniques.
  • Familiarity with Electrophoresis and Chromatography
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique and handling biologic samples ( monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, antibody-drug conjugates, vaccines)
  • Possess a basic understanding of instrumentation used in a Biochemistry lab.

Responsibilities
