As a Risk Specialist at Capital One you’ll be responsible for working with business partners to identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One. Risk Specialists at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1 year of experience in Risk Management

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Process or Project Management experience
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)

Responsibilities

• Relationship management - coordinates, influences and negotiates - ensures timelines are met and projects move forward
• drives investigation and/or problem solving for projects
• Analysis and Recommendations - Takes results and data and helps business understand implications and determine next steps.
• Communicating and reporting on results of assessments, and processes.
• Researching and problem-solving
