SUMMARY: Addition Financial Credit Union is seeking a motivated, hands-on team player with a high level of independence who is willing to be flexible and work on a variety of tasks to support our Community Engagement and Partnerships Department. The Community Engagement and Partnership Specialist is responsible for coordinating various community events to promote Addition Financial and generate account growth. The Specialist works with department relationship managers at all college partners, school districts, and local business partners to promote the credit union in a positive way. The job duties of a Specialist also include facilitating financial education, growing membership and building professional connections/partnerships.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Participate in community and professional organizations and associations
  • Operations in Credit Union or other retail banking experiences
  • Symitar
  • Synapsys
  • Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Deepen relationships with partners and surrounding communities while also developing new partnerships in the communities we serve.
  • Responsible for membership growth through accounts opened with credit union
  • Build awareness and support for the Addition Financial brand
  • Facilitate and ambassador financial education workshops
  • Plan, organize, and execute community events to enhance relationships between Addition Financial and community partners
  • Assist Relationship Managers with back up support to maintain cohesive community relationships and partnerships
  • Facilitate new hire orientation with school districts and other businesses
  • This role requires travel to all the counties we serve, approximately 70% of the time. Required travel Is reimbursed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) strongly preferred
