About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Quality Engineer F-15 to join the team located in Berkeley, MO. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study: Engineering Computer Science Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Mathematics Physics Chemistry Position Responsibilities: Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field
  • 1+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g. Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
  • 1+ years of experience with drawing, reading and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • 1+ years of experience in reviewing, interpreting, and implementing contract requirements and specifications.
