Requirements

  • Required: Associate degree -Science, Quality Assurance, Mathematics/Statistics or Business-related field
  • In lieu of Associate degree: High School diploma+ 5 years of medical device manufacturing in a quality assurance role required.
  • Experience working in a quality / technical role preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a Pharma, Biotech or Medical Device manufacturer preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees Quality needs for a product line across multiple processes.
  • Assist in plant projects and objectives.
  • Participate in audits as process and quality systems support. This includes but not limited to research and investigation of the identified process and or quality system and communication of the existing condition to the QE and as needed to the auditing staff
  • Assist in Root cause investigation and CAPAs.
  • Develop an understanding of the validation system and assist in process, equipment and instrument validations as well as Engineering studies.
  • Review and understand protocols, collect samples, train quality and production associates as needed, conduct measurements and data entry to support Quality, Process and Project Engineers.
  • Clear understanding of the CF/CIR documentation change process.
  • Assisting Quality Engineers with documentation changes from red-lined documents to approval and release.
  • Assist in meeting plant team objectives for cost and quality improvement, operating within department budget guidelines.
  • Demonstrate ability to make consistent and data driven decisions.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
  • Completion of projects on time and on budget.
  • Complete investigations and validations.
