The role primarily involves gathering, compiling, processing, and portraying Quality Engineering (technical) data to ensure part and process quality. This work supports and is conveyed to others, and can be connected to either Part Qualification Requirements assurance and/or Non-Conforming Material evaluations.

Requirements

  • AS-Technical Degree
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant to role experience
  • Relevant experience in: Quality Management System, Part Qualification (QA), Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).
  • Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system.
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks.
  • Read Engineering prints and comprehend associated Quality Requirements.
  • Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, SPC, etc).
  • Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree (as an alternate to AS-Technical Degree + 3 years)
  • Experience with Aero-Engine OEMs
  • Other Technical Certifications
  • Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – (macros, pivot tables, VB Coding)
  • SAP experience (preferred for MRP / ERP system)
  • Service Provider mindset
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized
  • Superior Customer interaction
  • Ability to work in self-directed environment and part of a global team
  • Maintain integrity & ethics in all situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part and process quality are achieved and sustained.
  • Support/convey efforts to others.
  • Interact with multiple computer systems / software.
  • Spot discrepancies in information or processing of information and take appropriate actions.
  • Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers.
  • Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career.
