About The Position

As an Associate Quality Assurance Tester at MetroStar, you will play a crucial role in defining, designing, and developing a next-generation insurance platform aimed at impacting the federal government. This position emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery, reflecting the company's commitment to its people and customers.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
• 0-2 years of experience in testing (manual and automated) in all areas of the SDLC (i.e., front-end, back-end, middleware).
• 0-2 years with testing tools/libraries for a back-end application using Java or JavaScript and API based testing (REST Assured, JSON, Postman, Swagger, Groovy, or Gradle).
• 0-2 years of experience working as a QA/Test Engineer supporting Agile development projects.
• 0-2 years preparing comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Comfortable analyzing the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions.
• Able to maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work with technical leads, business analysts, product owners, developers, and possibly client staff to design test scripts using manual solutions.
• Provide day-to-day support on testing-related activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver on your commitments.
