Associate QA Engineer
About The Position
Domo's AI and Data Products Platform lets people channel AI and data into innovative uses that deliver a measurable impact. Anyone can use Domo to prepare, analyze, visualize, automate, and build data products that are amplified by AI. This position requires you to be in office 5 days a week. The Associate QA Engineer position will be responsible for providing technical, quality, and customer-centric leadership to the software development process. Candidates should be proficient in both manual and automation testing methodologies. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing web applications, mobile applications, and other software products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on Test & Q/A Automation engineering experience in an enterprise software environment
- Experience with at least one programming language is required. Java, Python, and JavaScript preferred
- Experience working with data in relational and/or NoSQL databases strongly preferred
- Experience with continuous integration testing, tools, and frameworks preferred
- Strong familiarity with standard concepts and technologies used in web-based applications and testing web-based applications
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile product development environment
- Experience in working effectively under tight production schedules and deadlines
- Experience implementing new technologies/methods
- Experience with these testing tools is preferable: Jira, Selenium/Playwright, Python, JUnit, JMeter, Postman, Jenkins, Testrail
Responsibilities
- Advocate for quality, automation, security, long-term efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience
- Plan, build, execute, and maintain automated and manual tests
- Evaluate and collaborate on software designs
- Coordinate and collaborate with Developers, Product Management, Support, and other QA Engineers
- Use data and Domo to continuously improve processes and outcomes
- Review feature and automated test code
- Think critically and solve problems
