The Associate Project Manager within Equipment Engineering (EE) will support both product development programs and Operations-driven initiatives across Boston Scientific. This role is responsible for coordinating EE deliverables, timelines, and resources across cross-functional teams, ensuring quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget. This position combines operations and/or process development expertise with cross-functional project coordination. The Associate Project Manager may lead project teams composed of representatives from multiple Operations or Process Development functions. The role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, leadership potential, and a passion for engineering and project execution.

  • Driving cross-functional coordination of Equipment Engineering deliverables across development or operations programs
  • Collaborating with project teams to develop clear equipment specifications and evaluate feasibility through prototyping and risk assessments
  • Applying project management skills to coordinate team deliverables, develop timelines, and manage budget estimates
  • Establishing project milestones and monitoring adherence to master schedules and plans
  • Identifying project issues and supporting the resolution of resource constraints or evolving project requirements
  • Leading and directing equipment development teams in support of new product development, technology development, or operational programs
  • Managing and mitigating risks critical to project success through cross-functional collaboration
  • Communicating project updates and insights clearly and timely to site leadership and stakeholders
  • Partnering with external vendors to deliver equipment solutions and develop technologies aligned with project requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' related experience, or master's degree with a minimum of 3 years' related experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience leading projects with small and large cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated excellence in data analysis, project planning, and execution
  • Proven success in collaborating with multi-site, cross-functional project teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across project teams and customer groups
  • Technical problem-solving expertise
