Role Description The Associate Project Manager supports the successful delivery of software implementation projects by assisting with planning, coordination, and execution activities. This role is client-facing and works closely with Project Managers, internal teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals looking to grow in project management within a global legal technology organization, with direct exposure to client engagements and implementation delivery. Minimal travel may be required based on client and project needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related client-facing role
  • Exposure to software implementation, ERP systems, or professional services environments is a plus
  • Accounting or financial systems background is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with Smartsheets and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, PSA tools) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or entry-level experience in project management, consulting, or other client-facing roles
  • Exposure to accounting systems, ERP platforms, or legal industry workflows is beneficial but not required
  • Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a professional services environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of client-facing implementation projects
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Coordinate project tasks and help track progress against timelines
  • Maintain project documentation, plans, and status reports
  • Monitor project deliverables using CRM, Professional Services Automation tools, and Smartsheets
  • Communicate project updates to clients and internal teams; escalate risks or issues as needed
  • Support resource coordination and scheduling activities
  • Assist in managing project budgets, including tracking costs and reporting variances
  • Participate in client meetings and provide follow-up documentation and action tracking
  • Help identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Support change management processes and documentation
  • Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned
