Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with remote teams and manage vendors or subcontractors.
  • Experience with SAP, MS Project, or other project management tools.
  • This position is onsite with no sponsorship or international relocation available.

Nice To Haves

  • CAPM certification preferred; willingness to obtain Hitachi Energy APM certification within 2 years.
  • Knowledge of transformer manufacturing or the North American energy sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to support clear goals, tasks, and timelines.
  • Coordinate scope, scheduling, budgeting, and quality to meet customer expectations.
  • Partner with the lead Project Manager as a primary customer contact and assist with escalations.
  • Align resources across factories and service teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Maintain documentation, support risk management, and uphold compliance standards.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
