About The Position
The Department of Pathology, Heersink School of Medicine, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham ( UAB ) is inviting applications from qualified candidates at the Associate and Full Professor level for two full-time, open tenure earning positions to strengthen our research programs across the following broad areas: Cardiovascular and Cardiometabolic Disease, Neurodegeneration, Infectious disease and Immunity In addition, the Department of Pathology is participating in institutional initiatives in faculty recruitment in Neurosciences and Cancer .
Requirements
- Candidates must have an M.D. or Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.
- Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of originality and productivity in research and scholarly activity including previous and current extramural funding, and an interest in graduate and medical education.
