About The Position

As our Associate Production Technician, your primary role will be to accurately and efficiently perform the programming, setup, assembly, and quality inspection of circuit board assemblies at the surface mount level using specified automated and manual equipment. You will program pick and place, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), and other SMT (Surface Mount Technology) related equipment for new assemblies using CAD and BOM information and optimize set-up for efficiency and quality. You will monitor SMT machines to insure they are operating correctly. You will create part/packages using component data sheets and measurement tools. You will perform daily and weekly maintenance per machine specifications as well as troubleshooting and correcting machine issues as they occur.

Requirements

Have experience operating embedded Industry machines, including SMT, AOI, etc.
Have experience with soldering and assembly of circuit boards
Be consistent and possess attention to detail skills
Be self-motivated and willing to learn new skills and processes
Have experience with tracking and reporting on quality and production metrics
A High School degree or GED and 3-5 years of experience are required.
