What You’ll Do The Associate Product Owner (APO) is the agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. This team member collaborates with the Salesforce technical team in IT to communicate the product vision, articulate and prioritize the features to be built, and ensures the agile team executes the features. In addition, the APO will provide subject matter support in a tiered platform support system – from functional support to initiating, prioritizing, and tracking defect resolution work as needed. The APO will also work in collaboration with peer Product and IT Teams to support the delivery of tightly integrated business processes delivered through Salesforce Case Management capabilities. As the individual accumulates more experience in this APO role, the role will grow professionally in areas/ways such as: engagement with various departments across the organization to analyze existing business and operational procedures, prescribing how external / internal needs may be best met through process improvement via a broader set of Salesforce features and functions; establishing significant or even end-to-end target user experiences via functional design user story elaboration in JIRA, and consulting with internal and external technical partners in feasibility and solution design analysis.
