About The Position

We're looking for a strategic and collaborative Product Owner to drive the execution and delivery of our unified enterprise data model. In this key role, you will be the central point of contact for all business and stakeholder needs, translating the product vision into an actionable backlog. You'll be instrumental in shaping our data architecture from a business perspective, ensuring it serves as the single source of truth for critical data across the company, encompassing mortgage, servicing, sales, and workflow data. This is a unique opportunity to own the core data foundation for our enterprise data platform. The Product Owner will: Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for the enterprise data model. Translate the product roadmap and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable user stories with robust acceptance criteria for the data modelers and engineering team. Ensure the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by all. Partner with product leadership to execute the product roadmap. Break down large strategic initiatives into manageable features, plan sprints, and manage dependencies to ensure the timely delivery of value to the business. Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between business stakeholders (including mortgage origination, loan servicing, sales, and marketing) and the technical team. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and ensure a continuous feedback loop. Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on the business processes and data requirements for our core domains. Ensure the data model accurately reflects and supports the evolving needs of the business. Partnership with Technical Lead: Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Lead Data Modeler to ensure business requirements are technically feasible and are translated into an optimal, scalable data model design. Define acceptance criteria and be the sole party responsible for accepting completed user stories. Ensure that all development work meets the business objectives and quality standards before being released. Work with data governance teams to incorporate data standards and quality requirements into the product backlog. Champion initiatives that improve data integrity and trust across the enterprise.
