Hybrid Working Schedule Available Overall Summary The Associate Product Manager’s primary role is to plan, implement, and control all marketing related aspects of applicable products. This includes both long-range strategic planning and short-term tactical execution. The Associate Product Manager is expected to meet or exceed product line budget objectives by collaborating with key internal personnel to bring innovative new products to market, by serving as the market expert in their area of expertise and guiding key internal business processes, and by actively supporting the field sales force. The Associate Product Manager must be able to prioritize activities and allocate resources for greatest effectiveness.

  • he Associate Product Manager is expected to identify customer needs based upon routine field work, prior experiences, input from colleagues, and analysis of market trends and reports. This knowledge must be clearly reflected back into the business to guide key processes and priorities.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree business, science, or engineering
  • 2+ years of successful sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry, with demonstrated progressive levels of accomplishment.

  • Master’s Degree strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop short term and long-range budgets for area of product responsibility.
  • Maintains ongoing awareness of performance to budget and takes corrective action as needed.
  • Develops comprehensive plans for bringing major new products to market and actively leads the development effort.
  • Analyze product line performance from both a quantitative and qualitative standpoint to determine which products should be iterated, line extended, discontinued, etc.
  • Conduct product training for field sales force.
  • Based on product line analysis reports, take corrective actions as needed to ensure acceptable profitability.
  • Develop positioning strategies for new and existing products.
  • Seek out, validate, and define new product concepts.
